The Senegalese defender’s desire to leave has been confirmed by his agent.
Bruno Satin, Koulibaly’s agent spoke to Naples based Radio CRC today and dropped a bombshell regarding his client’s future.
“I was in Dimaro [Napoli’s training camp] on Saturday and we discussed a contract renewal however, we are not at the point of reaching an agreement. The desire of the player is to leave the club, not renew,” Satin said.
“To the Napoli fans I say stay calm because he won’t be joining Juventus, Chelsea and Everton are still interested as they are both searching for a central defender of his quality”.
Koulibaly has grown immensely since Sarri took over from Rafa Benitez last season.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been a fan of Koulibaly and it’s been long rumored that the defender was at the top of his wishlist.
