In the upcoming days a meeting will be held to discuss the future of Mauricio Isla.
Di Marzio claims that the gathering will be an opportunity for Cagliari director of sport Capozzucca to suss out whether the player is willing to move to the Sardinian club. Isla spent last season on loan to Ligue 1 club Marseille from Serie A champions Juventus.
The 28-year-old Chilean international comes with an abundance of Serie A experience and would reinforce the defense in an attempt to achieve survival in their return to Serie A.
The player represents good value as he recently won the 2016 Copa America and is also a two time Scudetto winner with Juventus. Unfortunately the player has never really been able to solidify his spot in the squad despite his undoubted quality and versatility to play multiple positions.
