The ex-Juventus youth product is searching for another new opportunity on trial at the Lega Pro side.
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Somalia International Ayup Daud has joined Lega Pro club Lucchese at their pre-season training camp in hopes of landing himself a contract.
The 26-year old last played for Budapest Honved in the Hungarian First Division in 2013/2014 where he notched seven goals in sixteen games. However, he did not remain with the club and has not played for a professional squad in over two years.
Coming out the ranks of the Juventus Primavera, Daud was regularly sent off on loan with stints at Crotone, Cosenza, Lumezzane and Gubbio. He would not make a single appearance for the first team at Juventus and by 2012, was plying his trade in the Swiss Second Division.
