The Coppa Italia cinderellas have found themselves a new striker to bolster their attack for the upcoming season.
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, 31-year old Argentinian center-forward Pablo Andrés Gonzalez has signed a four-year deal with Alessandria until June 30th 2020. After four seasons at Novara where he scored 78 goals in 233 appearances, Gonzalez is moving on down to Lega Pro to help I Grigi push for another shot at Serie B promotion.
The striker was introduced alongside his new teammates Saturday morning by President Luca Di Masi at the team presentation and his signing was officially confirmed on the club’s official website. Last season at Novara, he finished the campaign with ten goals and nine assists in 37 appearances, as Novara clinched a promotion playoff spot but failed to reach the end goal of Serie B. Gonzalez also has prior experience playing for the likes of Palermo and Siena in Serie A.
