Roma have announced the acquisition of 29 year old Federico Fazio on loan from Tottenham.
The Argentinian center-back has completed his loan move to the Giallorossi for €1.2 million. The loan agreement also offers the chance to purchase the player for €3.2 million, dependent upon appearances. Roma have been linked to several defenders, particularly following the injury of defender Mario Rui.
“I am very happy to be in a great team like Roma” said Fazio.
Tottenham signed Fazio in 2014 for £8 million. The defender has made 20 appearances for the club since his signing.
