It appears that Napoli will make a signing in defence as they have found an agreement with Torino for Nikola Maksimovic.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Nikola Maksimovic is all but a Napoli player. Napoli have agreed to pay Torino 25 million euros for the centre-half plus one million in bonuses. Moreover, midfielder Mirko Valdifiori will be included in the deal for the Serie A defender. Once they find an agreement over the play-maker’s salary, the deal for Maksimovic will be finalized.
Valdifiori will go to Torino on a loan deal with an obligation to buy set at 3.5 million euros. In the coming hours, this fee could slightly change as both clubs are still negotiating. After a full year of following the player, Napoli have finally acquired Maksimovic.
