The Foxes have inked Sporting’s Algerian talisman.
The Portuguese club had rejected Leicester’s advances but has caved on their €35 million counteroffer. Ranieri had long sought reinforcements for their title defense and Champions League campaign.
According to Sky Sports UK, the Algerian’s move will be officially announced by Leicester City.
Sporting Lisbon meanwhile have made €80 million in 3 days, between Slimani and Joao Mario’s departures. The Portuguese winger was purchased by Inter for €45 million this week.
