The two London sides has been vying for the Croatian’s services.
No transfer and a possible new deal for Marcelo Brozovic. Arsenal and Chelsea have been all but rejected by the Croatian and now it appears that he will look to extend his stay in Milan.
His agent, Miroslav Bicanic, spoke to Goal.com to clarify his future.
“It’s official, Marcelo will stay at Inter. Otherwise, he would have been on the plane to London and not with national team in Sisak. After he returns from Croatia, Marcelo will sign a new, improved contract with Inter. Even if he will have earned more with Chelsea, he really likes Inter, he knows the city well and the club will play in the Europa League. There’s a new coach, a new team, and for this reason he wanted to stay in Italy and not go to England.”
Chelsea had reportedly put a major contract offer on the table, instead they have signed Moussa Sissoko.
