It appears the Blues have won the race for the Frenchman.
A few hours ago, the French FA confirmed Sissoko had left the team’s retreat to finalize a transfer, they did not specify at the time where he was going.
Juventus had placed a bid on the table of around €20 million, according to Sky, but even that wasn’t enough to convince Newcastle to sell.
Now, according to L’Equipe, Tottenham had been close to the purchase, but Chelsea have intervened and looks set to acquire Moussa Sissoko for €25 million.
