The Italian striker will occupy headlines until the transfer window closes.
Manolo Gabbiadini is at the center of Napoli’s market in the last few days of the window. According to reports from England, a new bid has arrived from Everton.
€23 million plus €2 million in bonuses is the latest formula offered by the Toffees. The Premier League side’s offer still doesn’t reach the demands of Napoli supremo Aurelio De Laurentiis. The President wants at least €30 million between a base fee and bonus package, according to SKY Sports.
While the English are cutting into the distance between the two demands, Maurizio Sarri gave Gabbiadini some “advice” during his post match press-conference after the win against Milan.
“I would advise him to stay with us if he is a firm believer, but if it is not the case I would tell him to take another path because there are risks the performances won’t be his best.”
All the meanwhile Napoli are chasing Leonardo Pavoletti, the man who’s been running wild at Genoa and recently received his first Italy call-up from new coach Giampiero Ventura.
