Chelsea continue to chase defensive targets in Italy, and hope to secure a suitable reinforcement for Conte before the end of transfer deadline
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Chelsea are continuing to push for Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso. The English Premier League side have raised their offer to 22 million euros to try and entire Fiorentina to sell the Spaniard.
The Viola however are requesting 25 million, but Marcos Alonso has already approved of and agreed to the transfer.
Chelsea are ready to offer Marcos Alonso a five year contract and give the defender a significant pay rise to 3 million euros per year.
Marcos Alonso is no stranger to the English Premier League having featured for Bolton and Sunderland in the past, and has made 57 appearances for La Viola.
