José Mauri has officially joined Empoli Football Club on loan from A.C. Milan, both clubs confirmed.
The official statement from Milan:
“AC Milan announces that the player Jose Mauri will play on loan with Empoli FC until 30th june 2017.”
Mauri, who appeared in 33 Serie A matches for Parma two seasons ago, joined the Rossoneri last summer on a free transfer. The 20-year old has only featured in ten matches for the club.
The dry-loan to the Azzurri should prove beneficial to Mauri’s development with an increased workload which could not be guaranteed by the Milanese club this season.
