The former Real Madrid defender has left the Spanish capital and could count Serie A as his potential next destination.
As per Spanish publication Marca, Milan are pondering the idea of signing ex-Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Arbeloa.
Should the Rossoneri move forward with the signing, it would be considered a free transfer as the Spanish defender recently left the Champions League winners at the end of the season.
The 33-year old spent the last seven years at Real Madrid, making 238 appearances for the club.
