Udinese get their man and sign Rodrigo De Paul on a multi-year deal.
The Friuli club surprised many by signing De Paul from Valencia, who had been touted as on of their top prospects. Udinese announced that he will sign a 5 year deal with the Zebrette and joins for €3 million.
The 22-year-old joined Valencia from Racing Club in 2014 but was loaned back to Argentina in January. Valencia will suffer a financial loss of around €1.8 million on the Argentinian.
He failed to acclimate himself to Spanish life and didn’t live up to his immediate hype when he arrived. However, Iachini, the Udinese coach has a history of building young talents into superstars. De Paul will also fit his system as an attacking winger.
