Napoli and Udinese have an agreement for the midfielder but Liverpool still remain an option should Klopp give his blessing on a transfer.
With the transfer window having officially opened yesterday, long-awaited deals were finally closed and confirmed across Europe but Piotr Zielinksi, his future is still hanging in the balance. Following an impressive season on-loan at Empoli, the Polish midfielder has attracted interest from a handful of clubs. Both Liverpool and Napoli have gone back and forth with Udinese in their negotiations however the only one who can now unlock a potential deal, is Zielinski himself.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 22-year old is waiting for an answer from Jurgen Klopp but is ready to sport the Partenopei colors should Liverpool back out of a deal. As it stands, Napoli have agreement with Udinese on transfer, which is to be completed in one of two ways: €12 million plus Zuniga or €14 million cash. It is now up to the Pole to make a decision on his future.
