Juventus are eyeing Wolfsburg’s Luiz Gustavo to beef up their midfield options and cover long term injuries.
Juventus are thought to be seriously considering making an approach for Brazilian international Luiz Gustavo. Due injuries to key players such as the length of Marchisio’s absence, as well as Sami Khedira’s injury woes, the Juventus hierarchy are looking at bringing in a strong defensive midfielder to cover the gaps in the squad. The former Bayern Munich player would be ideal and comes with plenty of Champions League experience.
According to Gazza Mercato the Wolfsburg–owned player would be keen to test himself in Serie A, having spent a large portion of his career in the Bundesliga. The Bianconeri are reportedly ready to submit a loan bid worth €2-€3 million, with an added clause to redeem the player at €20 million.
Luiz Gustavo has made 82 appearances for Wolfsburg since his move from Bayern Munich in 2013, notching 7 goals as well as collecting 41 caps for Brazil.
