The move of Gianluca Caprari to Inter has been confirmed, with Cristiano Biraghi and George Puscas going in the other direction.
After a fantastic season last campaign with Pescara, Gianluca Caprari has earned himself a move to big time. A number of Serie A eyes have been on Caprari for most of his young career but it’s Inter that have managed to secure his signature.
Along with the nerazzurri, Napoli and Juventus were also keen on the player. The latter two clubs had been involved in lengthy negotiations with Pescara but it was Inter’s final push for Caprari that proved decisive.
Earlier in the week Rai Sport confirmed that the deal was all but done and he is in Milan today to complete his medical before possibly heading back to Pescara to spend this season on loan.
Pescara’s club president explained, ‘it’s still not entirely clear whether or not Caprari will spend next season on loan at Pescara, though everything suggests that he will given that at this present moment he’s unlikely to find much space at Inter, especially if Candreva should also arrive’.
The deal includes two Inter products going in the other direction. After a year on loan at Bari, George Puscas will spend this coming season on loan at Pescara whilst Cristiano Biraghi, 24 this year, will move there permanently.
