The Viola announced on their official site the signing of Dragowski.
Fiorentina had been competing for weeks with Arsenal for Bartlomiej Dragowski. According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool and Arsenal had been scouting the teenage keeper at Jagiellonia Bialystok since before the new year.
Today, Fiorentina released a statement confirming the acquisition of Dragowski.
“ACF Fiorentina can confirm that the club has reached an agreement with Jagiellonia Bialystok for the transfer of 18-year-old goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski. The completion of the deal is subject to the player passing a medical over the coming days.”
Dragowski was estimated to be worth around €6 million before signing with the Viola. The details of the deal are yet to be announced.
