It has been a long and difficult summer for Lega Pro, as we have seen a plethora of clubs go to the wall and many more edging ever closer to the brink of oblivion.
However by tomorrow evening we should know the make up of the 60 teams that will compete in Lega Pro for the 2016/17 season. At the moment the league is 12 teams short of its preset quota, but the divisions federal council will meet tomorrow and decide which 12 clubs will be given access into the league for the upcoming year.
Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that the 12 teams that will be selected are as follows:
Albinoleffe, Fano, Fondi, Forli, Lupa Roma, Melfi, Olbia, Racing Roma (Previously known as Lupa Castelli Romani), Reggina, Taranto, Vibonese.
The last spot is thought to be heading to Cavese however there may be a number of potential problems with the clubs application and Monza are waiting in the wings hoping that they may benefit from any such problems.
