Bad news for Juventus as it seems Berardi is preparing to stay at Sassuolo for the long haul.
There’s been a lot of talk regarding the future of Domenico Berardi, who’s in the limbo between Sassuolo and Juventus. The two clubs have an excellent relationship and have worked in sync with each other on multiple fronts over the past few years.
In the past there had been talk of a “moral agreement” between the two presidents regarding the talent, but now it seems that Sassuolo does not want to give the priority to anybody in a formal point of view.
The idea is to keep the Italian starlet and to give everybody an equal chance at signing him in the future.
According to Sky Italy, there’s no agreement now or for the future for Berardi. Sassuolo’s intentions are to keep him and then sell to the highest bidder, whoever and whenever that might be.
Berardi has scored 38 goals and 23 assists in 90 Serie A games over the past few years. It’s speculated that the young Italian winger is worth around €20 million.
