Easy question: Who wins the scudetto?
It seems to me that this is a year full of surprises, but Juventus is still the favorite.
Mancini’s Inter?
I was disappointed with the formation utilized against Fiorentina. This trident Mancini uses is absurd. You cannot have these three players so high up the pitch lined up with each other. This is leaves space open which obviously exposed Inter’s midfield. Fiorentina had so much initiative during the match because the Inter departments were far apart from each other.
So, Inter was elongated and spread out, then.
The long ball play is fine, but the way Inter played the long ball, was disappointing. The difference is tactical, in the choices of the managers. The trident that played a high line the whole match was what ultimately penalized Inter.
How do you see the title holders?
Juventus started badly because they lost Tevez and Vidal, they’re missing them. It’s the same rules as last year, though; If you’re going to win, you have to score goals.
Do you like Fioretina’s chances?
I’ll say that, in the meantime, I like Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli. Fiorentina’s Paulo Sousa certainly gave us an interesting game, with players that have proved functional and better than most names at Juventus and Inter. It may be their year, but it also could be Napoli or even Torino’s season.
