On the match vs Bologna
“In the first half we had difficulty, they defended well. In the second half we were able to create more chances and execute with speed. We could have scored a goal or two more but I am satisfied with the performance of the squad.”
On the next match vs Inter
“We are happy with what we have accomplished to date. Inter has invested significantly in the transfer market, but we want to compete even against teams like this. We have the quality to do so.”
On the season so far
“Did I ever imagine us being second? We always believe in ourselves, I have always said that we have a chance to compete with everyone, we are realistic but we have to believe in everything we do. I am satisfied with the result, we are still in a process of growth where there are times when we suffer, also thanks to our opponents.”
“But I see a team that believes in itself and can at times put our principles into practice. We got better as the game progressed, creating through the midfield and on the flanks.”
“I want to be clear and as honest as possible with the fans in terms of expectations. I’ve always said that there are teams that have invested much more than us, but I never said that we want to give up anything.”
“The variety of moods dictated by the results help us to push for more and do the maximum. My job is to ensure that the enthusiasm of the fans does not destabilize the team, but for us it is hard to think of reaching important goals without the support of the fans. ”
“Where can we improve? Enrich the technical and tactical quality of the players in the face of difficulty continuing our plan.”
