AS Roma issued a press release on the status of Captain Francesco Totti.
Totti, who was one of the three players who suffered a knock in the 5-1 win over Carpi is likely to sit on the sidelines for a period of time.

“Francesco Totti underwent a medical exam today, which confirmed an injury to his right thigh.
The Giallorossi captain was forced off the pitch in the second half of Roma v Carpi and will undergo more tests in ten days to see how long he’s expected to be out.
Here’s what the Giallorossi medical team had to say on the injury:
“After hyperextending his thigh in yesterday’s match, our tests on Francesco Totti showed up exudate around the injured ischiocrural muscle in his right thigh. The exact extent of the injury will be confirmed in ten days, following regulation examinations.”
This news confirms that Totti will miss the UEFA Champions League game against BATE Borisov.
