Edin Dzeko will be out of action for three to four weeks after an injury sustained to his right knee during Roma v Carpi.
Here’s the report from the Giallorossi medical team:
“Following a knock to his right knee, Edin Dzeko has picked up a first-degree strain to his medial collateral ligament. He’s expected to be out for three or four weeks.”
Roma take on BATE Borisov in the UEFA Champions League this week before taking on Sicilian side Palermo in the weekend.
After this weeks games, the international break begins, therefore, Dzeko shouldn’t miss more than 5 games.
