Fiorentina had their work cutout for them when they edged newly promoted Carpi 1-0 on the road yesterday.
Paulo Sousa was pleased to get the win against an opponent who didn’t make things easy.

We succeeded on the road in a difficult environment, against a team that is getting better. We suffered but got the win in the end. Suarez? Today he had a difficult task of covering two roles.
