Azzurri squad to face Bulgaria and Probable Starting Line-Ups

The Azzurri face Bulgaria this evening knowing a victory in Palermo assures Conte’s side of a play-off spot going into next month’s double-header against Azerbaijan and Norway.

Italy moved back to the top of Group H with a 1-0 victory over Malta on Thursday after Croatia were held to a 0-0 draw away to Azerbaijan.

Earlier this year the Azzurri were held to a 2-2 draw against Bulgaria in Sofia. Italy have won their last three home games against their opponents.

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Daniele Padelli (Torino), Salvatore Sirigu (Paris Saint Germain)

Defenders: Francesco Acerbi (Sassuolo), Andrea Barzagli (Juventus), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Domenico Criscito (Zenit), Matteo Darmian (Manchester United), Mattia De Sciglio (Milan), Manuel Pasqual (Fiorentina), Andrea Ranocchia (Inter)

Midfielders:  Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Alessandro Florenzi (Roma), Marco Parolo (Lazio), Andrea Pirlo (New York City), Roberto Soriano (Sampdoria), Marco Verratti (Paris Saint Germain)

Attackers: Antonio Candreva (Lazio), Eder (Sampdoria), El Shaarawy (Monaco), Gabbiadini (Napoli), Insigne (Napoli), Immobile (Sevilla), Pellé (Southampton), Vazquez (Palermo), Zaza (Juventus).

Antonio Conte will be making five changes to the team that defeated Malta on Thursday. De Sciglio, De Rossi, Soriano, Candreva and Insigne are all likely to start the game in place of Pasqual, Pirlo, Bertolacci, Gabbiadini and Eder.

Andrea Bertolacci has withdrawn from the squad with injury.
