Long time AC Milan defender and periodical captain Daniele Bonera has sought pastures anew in Spain.
Signing on a free transfer with Villarreal in La Liga, Bonera will continue his career in La Liga after playing for three teams in Italy, Brescia (1998-2002), Parma FC (2002-2006) and AC Milan (2006-2015).
In an official announcement from Villarreal, the ‘Yellow Submarine’ has signed the Italy international on a 1 year deal.
After playing 300 official Serie A matches in Italian football, one of Milan’s longtime senators of the club will most likely finish his playing career in yellow.
