With much hype for the first installment of the Milan Derby this season, the Milanese clubs will head into this important match coming off league victories prior to the international break. The Rossoneri held on to beat Empoli 2-1 thanks to goals by newcomers Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano, while the Nerazzurri scored the late winner against Carpi from the penalty spot thanks to the in-form Stevan Jovetić.
