Jonathan De Guzman underwent his medical visits yesterday with Swansea City, an obligated exam before making the deal official on his transfer back to Wales.
It’s surfaced that it may take several weeks before De Guzman would be available for Guidolin and this could make the transfer collapse.
Carpi, meanwhile is ready to take on De Guzman immediately, a dry loan until the end of the season.
Swansea will make the final decision and depending on the outcome, he will either be playing in Wales or Carpi for Castori’s team.
The deal is already agreed upon with Napoli, the end of this particular transfer saga is almost finished.
