Napoli’s transfer window is heating up as the month winds down.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there have been phone calls, evaluations, negotiations as Napoli continue to press for Empoli defender Federico Barba, who’s been on the club’s radar for quite some time.
The deal could be closed on the basis of €4 million. Tomorrow could be an important day, with the agent bringing Napoli’s official offer to Empoli.
For Napoli, they aren’t evaluating solely Barba, the director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli is looking at other possible solutions. The Partenopei are taking a look at Genoa’s Sebastian De Maio, the French defender born in 1987.
