Marotta: “We’re Keeping Pogba, Allegri and Dybala Close to Us.”

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta highlighted the importance of keeping key pieces to the team together before the Roma-Juventus game.

In an interview with Mediaset Premium, Marotta said,:

“Allegri is a good manager. He’s popular, we’re happy. We had a difficult start this season and he was criticized but he demonstrated to be a top class manager. We’re very happy with him and believe we can move forward with Allegri. There’s an ideal relationship between him and the club as well as him and the squad.”

Pogba and Dybala are two players that are attracting interest from big clubs.

“Pogba and Dybala are two interesting youngsters. The biggest satisfaction is having them play for us. There are two youngsters who generate a show and we want to keep them very closely.”

Is it the week of contract renewals?

“There are three players who have expiring deals: Caceres, Evra and Barzagli. We have a great relationship with them and in the next few weeks we will decide what’s best for everyone. There are three great professionals who have given a lot for the cause and we will evaluate their situations. One thing’s certain, Caceres is not moving in January.”

Reinforcements in January?

“We have a roster with a lot of players and we will continue with this team. We don’t have an particular needs. Our objectives aren’t attainable in this transfer window.”
