Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City are going to have some strong competition in their pursuit for Sampdoria’s top striker. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have formalized an offer of €8 million plus €2 million in bonuses for Azzurri striker Eder. However, it is an offer that is far off the €15 million Sampdoria are asking for. Inter consider the Italian international as the perfect candidate to fit into Mancini’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
The Nerazzurri will likely duel it out with Leicester, who they themselves proposed an offer of €10.5 million which is also below the fee requested by Sampdoria. It will have to be seen in the next few days if Inter will increase their offer or, if Ranieri will get the upper hand, and make Eder his newest acquisition at Leicester.
