Today can be a decisive day for negotiations between Inter and Sampdoria for the Brazilian-born Italian striker.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, both clubs met earlier this morning to continue discussing the possible transfer of Eder to Inter. Mancini would like to have the deal completed soon as he has the intention to include the striker in his squad for Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina against Milan.
The value for Eder remains around €12 million and the latest is the possibility of the transfer being a loan deal with obligation to buy. Leicester were also heavily interest in bringing him to the EPL however it is clear Inter have the edge. By moving within Serie A, it will keep his chances of making Conte’s Azzurri squad for the Euro very high.
Eder is currently joint 2nd-scorer in Serie A, tied with Dybala on 12 goals.
