Hoping to finally take the pitch this season, the Dutch midfielder is changing sceneries after failing to find space in Sarri’s squad.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have officially completed the transfer via loan of Jonathan de Guzman to relegation-battling Carpi for the rest of the season. Carpi confirmed the move via their official website:
”Carpi F.C. 1909 announces the acquisition, on a temporary loan until June 30th, 2016 from Napoli, of Jonathan de Guzman.”
This will mark the 28-year old Canadian-born Dutch international’s first transfer within Italy since his signing from Villareal in 2014.
