The Azzurro midfielder, accompanied by the medical staff and doctor De Nicola, the entourage visited specialist Professor Mariani and the Villa Stuart in Rome.
The exams have showed a tear in the medial meniscus in his right knee. Grassi underwent an arthroscopic operation in the afternoon.
Grassi will return to Napoli’s training ground Castelvolturno to begin the rehab process and will be available in three weeks time.
