It’s official. Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin will be packing his bags and will be heading to China after the move was made official this morning.
According to Sky Sports, Inter will receive 13 million euros for the Colombian midfielder who was deemed surplus by Roberto Mancini. The former Porto man put pen to paper to a deal this morning that will see him join Shanghai Shenhua for the foreseeable future.
Today, the club’s social media team released this statement about the signing,:
“His arrival allows us to significantly improve the side for next season. We cannot wait to see him work with us and build good chemistry with the rest of the side and Moreno, his compatriot, in particular. Together they will make increase our threat in the final third ahead of next year’s Super League.”
The 29-year-old had a goal and an assist in 16 appearances in the league this season for Inter.
