The Colombian defender wasn’t pleased with the 1-1 draw with the Sicilians.
Speaking after the final whistle to the Inter Channel, Jeison Murillo wasn’t happy but assured his side gave their all.
“We wanted the three points, we gave it our all and we’re not happy to have gotten [the three points] in front of our fans. We’ll make it up in our next home game. It doesn’t feel right to compare to the past, the coach is trying to evaluate our characteristics and I’ll continue to work hard so I can get to my best physical condition.
“Compliments to Palermo, we had more shots on goal but our desire to win is huge and we’ll continue to try to do so. We’ve had many chances, myself, Joao, Gary, Mauro, we just didn’t have any luck and we’ll hope that wind changes.
“Now we have the international break and [I] play against Venezuela and Brazil.”
