Roma striker Edin Dzeko was happy with his side’s win and goal but stated it would have been better celebrating with more fans.
After a rather slow start to life in Italy, Dzeko has been in fine form lately scoring goals against Bayer Leverkusen and Lazio. After the game, the former Manchester City man told reporters:
“It would have been nice to have seen a packed stadium and with every fan. It would have liked to celebrate with them. I hope they’re there for the next time.”
On the penalty shot:
“I decided that I was taking the penalties yesterday therefore I knew where I was going. I saw some videos of Marchetti and I chose to shoot it centrally.”
On his side’s Scudetto hopes:
“We have to look at it game by game. It was a really difficult month for us but we overcame it nicely. Now, I’m thinking about Bosnia.”
On the Champions League:
“We want to finish second in the group.”
