Following his side’s progression to the round of sixteen in the Champions League, Claudio Marchisio expressed his satisfaction.
In his post-game interview with Sky Sport, the Italian international told reporters,:
“It wasn’t even slightly easy but we could have closed the game earlier. They are a team that could have hurt us at certain times. We are currently on the right path where we don’t concede many chances and remain aware throughout the whole ninety minutes.”

“It is and it should be everyone’s way of thinking. Those who have arrived have to understand that the Champions League is the competition that matters the most.”
Juventus will now travel to Spain to take on Sevilla in the final match-day of group action but have already secured their place in the round of sixteen. A draw will now be enough for them to claim first place.
