Barcelona right back Dani Alves would welcome Roma midfielder and right back Alessandro Florenzi to Catalonia as his heir.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Dani Alves says “He is a great player, he has great quality and an excellent foot: all those who come to us to improve are welcome.”
After the director of football for AS Roma Walter Sabitini said that Florenzi is better than Dani Alves, he was asked about the Italian national. He went on to answer that he would love to have have the Rome born twenty-four year old at Barcelona, and that he welcomes the competition.
This coming after rumors of links between Florenzi and Barcelona, the Italian is also up for the Puskas award nomination for his wonderful long range strike against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
These two teams face off again today November 24 at the Camp Nou in Catalonia.
