Another blow to Roma’s campaign, Premium Sport interviewed Rudi Garcia after the 2-0 loss to Atalanta.
Garcia’s men took another defeat this week with a 2-0 loss at home to Atalanta Bergamo.
Another punch to the squad?
“We’re all upset and angry with ourselves, above all the performance. We let Atalanta play their game and have only ourselves to blame. We assume the responsibility, tomorrow we’ll see what we have to do go forward. This group demonstrated little in terms of being competitive, as what happened in the derby. We’re not looking for alibis, we have to do much better. It’s not a defeat that will break me.”

“It’s been a really bad week, but I don’t think that they coincide. We gifted the first goal, but that can happen. We need a strong mentality to go forward, we’re exposed in this mindset. Atalanta defended well, and we didn’t do enough to score despite in the chances we had.
What’s happened to Roma?
“We can get better, Digne on the first goal made the right decision. He wasn’t sure that Moralez was offside and he lost the ball, we can’t lose the ball. When it went 0-1, nothing was lost, but in the second half we were spent and this is a problem. We have to get back to the short and combined play, tonight we didn’t do that.
Why did De Sanctis start?
He and Szczesny are even, Morgan trained well and he is not more or less responsible for what happened tonight.
How are you going to fix Roma?
“My work from tomorrow is to come in with my head held high at this moment, you can see the quality of the group in the difficult moments. Only though hard work will bring us to scoring more goals and we have to get better on the defensive level. We have to cancel out the individual errors and find our enthusiasm and joy in training..”
