Luca Antonelli did not have the best of performances in the club’s 2-2 draw with Empoli. The Italian fullback spoke to Milan Channel after the fixture.

“We knew it was going to be a hard game tonight. At home, Empoli have only lost to Juventus and Inter but played well. We weren’t clinical enough at key times tonight and we have to do better.We took the lead twice and this leaves us with regrets because we should have held on to our lead.”
The left-back on the missed opportunities to seal the win:
“We’re improving and we’re pleased about that, but we can do better. We gave 110% as we always do, but it’s not easy to come here and get a positive result. However, a top team cannot be pegged back twice. We didn’t take advantage of 2 or 3 counter attacks and they could have brought the 3 points.”
With the cup match against Alessandria and the Derby ahead:
“We now have the cup match with Alessandria and then we will think about the derby. Alessandria are a good side and we won’t underestimate them. Having said that, if we play like Milan, then we will win.”
