Napoli’s David Lopez has finally settled his next destination as he has signed for Espanyol.
After lots of confusion surrounding David Lopez’s squad that he would sign for, the ex Napoli midfielder has finally officially signed for Spanish Primera side Espanyol. The Spaniard returns to his hometown team after he made the switch to Napoli in August of 2014.
Lopez was reportedly supposed to sign for Espanyol last week however, for economical reasons, the deal collapsed and therefore Lopez was close to signing for Real Betis. Similarly, the deal that would have brought David Lopez to Real Betis also collapsed. Now, David Lopez has finally signed a four year contract with his former club, Espanyol over a reported €4.5million deal.
Napoli will remember David Lopez for his hard work and undeniable professionalism on and off the pitch. Buena suerte/In bocca al lupo/Good luck David!
