Fiorentina and Napoli are working on a Kalinic-Gabbiadini swap deal and will try finding an agreement before the window closes.
According to CalcioNapoli24’s Claudio Russo, both Napoli and Fiorentina are interested in getting this swap deal done. The one major stumbling block at the moment are Fiorentina’s high demands. Paulo Sousa’s side are reportedly demanding that Napoli pay 10 million euros in addition to giving them Manolo Gabbiadini for Nikola Kalinic. The partenopei are reluctant to meet that figure but are still negotiating. As a result, striking a deal won’t be easy.
In addition, Napoli have offered Kalinic a salary of 2.1 million euros per year for four seasons. Gabbiadini, by contrast, is currently on 1.5 million euros per year for another five seasons. Should Napoli accept Fiorentina’s conditions, the deal will come out to 35 million euros as Gabbiadini is valued at about 25 million euros.
