The Colombian international could play in Italy after all with Fiorentina now interested.
Years ago when the Colombian played for Valenciennes in Ligue 1, Udinese were a step away from signing him but the deal fell through.
Now, according to Sky Sports, Paulo Sousa is heavily interested in bringing the Colombia international to Florence. Liquid cash is a problem for Fiorentina at the moment and are asking for a loan-to-buy deal, with an obligation at the end of the season.
They’ve already made a proposal to Aston Villa, who are now evaluating the terms.
Fiorentina hopes to reinforce their midfielder, and Sanchez is the hottest name on the market stove.
