French media outlet LeTelegramme.fr are reporting that Fiorentina have identified Rennes’ Benoit Costil to solidify their goalkeeping ranks. Tatarusanu has struggled since Neto’s departure and Sousa’s side would like to reinforce the position. The French site also reported that contacts between the clubs have intensified over the past few days.
However, Fiorentina have denied all rumors linking the goalkeeper to their side and affirm that they’re happy with their current options in goal. In the coming days, we will see if the Viola will take this deal forward.
