Milan will have to look for another midfielder as they have missed out on Paris Saint-Germain’s Benjamin Stambouli.
According to Sky Sport, Milan were heavily interested in bringing Benjamin Stambouli to the club. However, in recent days the player agreed to join Bundesliga outfit Shalke 04 and will put pen to paper with them shortly. As a result, the rossoneri will have to shift their attention elsewhere.
Sky Sport also reported that Montella’s side were offered Tottenham’s Nabil Bentaleb as an alternative but aren’t too keen on the French-Algerian midfielder as he doesn’t suit the team’s needs. With just over a week left in the transfer window it appears that Milan will have to set their sights on another midfielder as Stambouli is on his way to Germanty while Bentaleb doesn’t fit the bill.
