The Spanish club confirm that they have signed the Italian International to a five year contract.
The 25 year old leaves Serie A for the first time in his career to join Spanish side Villareal. Reports say the transfer cost €15 million for the player and the contract is for five years.

The 25 year old scored 8 goals in 40 games for the Blucerchiati last season. Soriano has played with Sampdoria his entire career since 2010, only playing one season on loan with Empoli In 2010.
