AS Roma coach Spalletti spoke of his tough opposition this Saturday against Udinese.
Spalletti has spoken about his teams difficulty with match congestion and is now speaking of the difficult task of defeating Udinese. Spalletti spoke at a press conference about what to expect from his team as well as his opposition.
On what to expect from Udinese:
“Udinese are a good side. The club makes its intentions clear from the word go. They sign young, talented players and throw them into the side – they have lots of players in every position so they can rotate the team a lot.
“They have physical strength and they’re full of running so it will be a tough battle. We’ll have to fight, but they will certainly have lost something with the retirement of Di Natale. As I’ve said on many occasions, I know Iachini well and I’m aware of what he’s able to convey to his teams.
“Udinese will be well-prepared, a tough opponent. Let’s not be fooled by the Spezia result. I have friends at Spezia and they told me that everything went right for them while everything went wrong for Udinese. Sometimes misfortune makes all the difference.”
On new player’s role’s:
“In terms of quality we also have Gerson, who’s a player with great technical ability. He just needs to settle into the club and adapt to our type of football.
“Bruno Peres’ arrival means we can play Florenzi further forward, so for now we’re good. We can always get better – we could even look for another player in midfield – but right now we’re sticking with what we’ve got. Unless something unexpected happens, we have the quality we need to play our game and show what we can do.”
