With Juventus still looking for a midfielder to replace Paul Pogba, Blaise Matuidi’s name has been thrown around.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Blaise Matuidi is Juventus’ number one priority to replace the departed Paul Pogba. The player most recently made a substitute appearance in Paris Saint-Germain’s win over Metz. The French champions have set a high price for the player rebuffing Juventus’ advances thus far. Allegri’s side are in constant contacts with the player’s entourage and will wait for Paris Saint-Germain to drop their 40 million euro asking price. They did however make contacts with the French side yesterday.
While Matuidi remains Juventus’ first choice for the midfield, Wolfsburg’s Luiz Gustavo is the alternative. That said, the Brazilian is very much the plan B to Matuidi.
